Jones Course Software Now Meets Accessibility Standards

Jones Knowledge Inc.'s e-education online course management and delivery
software has been upgraded to include features for visually impaired
students, making it compliant with Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation
Act. Courses delivered via e-education can be used in conjunction with
popular screen-reader applications such as JAWS and Window-Eyes, which
dictate text, as well as with screen magnifiers such as MAGic and ZoomText,
which enlarge online images for improved readability for visually impaired
students. 

The company says it worked with a team from The Metropolitan State College of
Denver's Combined Computer Access Center
(http://thunder1.cudenver.edu//ccac/index.html) to ensure that the software
they created worked successfully with existing accessibility tools. To
further ensure compliance, the company says it used the Bobby compliant
