Extending Horizons: Accessibility to Next Generation Networks Conference 

Here are details of a conference on the accessibility of next generation
telecommunication networks on 16th January in London. The conference is
organized by COST 219ter and is free of charge.  

Early registration is strongly advised since demand is likely to be greater
than the capacity of the venue.

What might the future hold and how will new communication technologies impact
on the lives of older and disabled people? 

How can we ensure that older and disabled people are included in the
opportunities offered by emerging network services? 

This conference will explore some of the benefits and obstacles by
stimulating debate. 

Come and join in the debate!


Speakers include Prof Patrick Roe, Ian Pearson, Paul Lee, Prof Alan Newell,
Prof Gregg Vanderheiden, Mrs Inmaculada Placencia-Porrero, Francisco da Silva
and Tony Shipley. 

The conference is free of charge, and places will allocated to those sending
