Freeware / shareware

I thought we should start a thread about shareware and freeware
programs with reviews and comments.

Irfan View - http://www.irfanview.com
Freeware graphics viewer, editor and thumbnail webpage creator. It is small,
fast to download, installs politely (asking which file formats to display,
not just stealing everything and resetable). Fastest loading and very
functional photo viewer or editor on the market and the price can not be
beaten.

FileSync - http://www.fileware.com/download.htm
I know this isn't strictly a program to help with computer use in the way we
usually think of it saves ME a lot of time. Between the desktop computer at
home, the desktop at work, the laptop, AND the extremely useful USB drive
one could spend a lot of time transferring files for work. A freeware
utility called FileSync helps me quickly determine which files in any given
folder or drive aren't transferred or synced and lets me choose which ones
to transfer.

CruzerLock 2 (by Encryptyx http://www.encryptx.com )
I also wanted to mention that the last Scandisk USB drive I purchased came
with this freeware encryption program. This takes some of the worry about
breeching client confidentiality should one lose their laptop or USB drive.
