Activities: 
1. Develop hardware and software to enhance computer access and
daily living for individuals with disabilities.

2. Provide problem solving consultation to clinicians and their
clients within the clinics at the Trace Center.

3. Provide technical support via the telephone, email, etc., for
products in the rehabilitation field.

4. Information dissemination via national/regional conference
presentations, workshops, and publications.

Interests: 
1. Low and high "tech" solutions which provide access to computers
and consumer electronic products for individuals with a
disability, especially those with mobility and sensory
impairments.

2. Person-to-machine interfaces and interactions.

3. General use of technology to provide enhancements or solutions.

Resources: 
1. Software experience with PC DOS and Windows 3.x (e.g. assembly
and C language developing TSRs, DLLs, device drivers, etc.), with
MAC OS (e.g. System 7.0 or newer, assembly and C language), with
the UNIX/X Window Systems (e.g. the X Server using C language),
and with object languages (e.g. C++ and Java).

2. Hardware development experience, especially with embedded
microprocessors and their interface electronics.

3. Information experience with a wide range of both hardware and
software products in rehabilitation and related fields.
