Project Aiyme

Project AIYME offers at-risk youth (focusing specifically on 8th graders) a forum for open discussion, opportunities to exhibit leadership skills, and workshops on relevant issues such as high school, violence, family, and Asian-American identity.

South Asian Preventative Health Outreach Program (Saphop)

SAPHOP provides free blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol testing for the Bay Area South Asian community.

Association for International Development (SAID)

SAID aims to build a strong and well-connected community of people dedicated to international service, and to inspire innovative, conscientious, and practical approaches to the field of development. The largest project is an annual conference, which takes place in the winter and focuses on a major issue in international development.

Project Dosti

Project DOSTI seeks to educate the Stanford community about issues of South Asian culture and development, and to facilitate student involvement in service, locally and in India. Project DOSTI teaches a spring class and sends volunteers to India during the summer.

Association for India's Development (AID), SF-Bay Area Chapter

AID is a non-profit charitable, volunteer organization that supports a wide variety of social and development projects addressing problems such as literacy, healthcare, rural credit, vocational training, and children's welfare.


Asha for Education is a secular organization dedicated to change in India by focusing on basic education in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change.

CRY Bay Area

CRY America is a non-profit organization that exists for underprivileged children, especially Indian, providing them with hope and a means to look forward to a brighter tomorrow.

Indo-American Community Service Center

Provides need-based services to Indo-Americans including educational and socialization programs, health care, and counseling.


Focuses on promoting education and improving school infrastructure in rural areas of Tamil Nadu.

Unite for Site

Implements vision screening and education programs in North America and in developing countries. In North America, patients are connected with free health coverage programs so that they can receive an eye exam by a doctor. In Africa and Asia, Unite For Sight volunteers work with partner eye clinics to implement screening and free surgery programs.
