Love and heartbreak consume the small town of Leadville, Colorado in the late 19th century as Horace Tabor, a married man, meets and falls in love with the stunning Elizabeth “Baby” Doe. Everyones’ lives will change when the silver crash hits, and Horace’s fortune may be in jeopardy. Join us for the 50th anniversary of the premiere of this stunning opera, in collaboration with the Stanford Department of Music.

Fighting Windmills

Two men thrown into jail by the Spanish Inquisition plead their case with the compelling tale of Don Quixote of La Mancha, whose holy quest is a mission of salvation to find compassion not for himself but for others. He falls in love with the beautiful maiden Aldonza and tries to protect her from harm, but can only preach kindness and forgiveness.
