|Stanford Equestrian TeamThe Stanford Equestrian Team, based at Stanford University’s historic Red Barn Equestrian Center, has between 35-45 active members riding Hunt Seat Equitation, Dressage and Western Horsemanship. The team is actively involved in all aspects of horsemanship and care and competes in Zone 8, Region 1 of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Zone 8. The team boasts numerous Regional and Zone Champions and consistently places in the Top 10 at National Championships.|
|Riding AcademyCommunity members and Stanford-affiliates (students, faculty and staff) can join group lessons to improve their English riding skills under the tutelage of our well-respected trainers.|
|Red Barn Interscholastic TeamsThe Red Barn’s fun, educational and successful High School and Middle School teams (Red Barn & Woodside) train together at Stanford and compete at IEA shows throughout California.|
|Physical EducationAvailable to Stanford students, faculty, and staff. Geared towards beginner through advanced beginner riders in English and Western. Classes meet once a week and enrollment is limited.|
|The Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer ProgramThe Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Program offers intensive week long sessions available to high school students who would like to explore the world of collegiate riding. Each day includes a mounted riding lesson with one of the coaches of the Stanford Equestrian Team, an unmounted educational session and a fitness activity.|
|Red Barn Leadership ProgramGuided by our experienced facilitators, the Red Barn’s unmounted leadership programs are custom designed to inspire individuals and build teams.|
