Model UN Travel Team
The travel team competes at conferences across the world on the collegiate Model UN circuit. At conferences, we simulate serious UN sessions and absurd crisis committees that require diplomacy skills and knowledge of international policy. Our team has won numerous awards throughout the years. All conference costs are covered by the organization.
Stanford Model UN Conference (SMUNC)
Every fall, hundreds of high school students come to the Stanford campus to enjoy a weekend of debate and diplomacy. SMUNC is staffed by Stanford students who help run the conference. All Stanford students, regardless of SIAS involvement, are encouraged to apply to staff SMUNC.
Community Events
SIAS also puts on events for the campus community at large, such as speaker series, discussions, and trivia nights. We welcome students from all disciplines to join us. Check out our upcoming and past events in the events page.
