The Society for International Affairs at Stanford, SIAS, is Stanford’s premier organization for students involved in the international community and interested in questions of international relations and global citizenship. For decades, SIAS has been an umbrella organization encompassing Stanford’s award-winning intercollegiate Model United Nations team, the group of students that come together each fall to put on Stanford’s Model UN conference for high school students, bringing hundreds of talented high school students to campus for a weekend of fun and intellectually stimulating debate and creative thinking about some of the world’s most pressing issues. In addition, SIAS puts on social events and a speaker series for anyone on campus to attend. See Upcoming Events for ways to get involved with SIAS in the near future.
