Hornet Hill Cut     39°10'6.18"N, 120°52'42"W

Description

Description

This is a good example of how a cut that seemed dramatic to a nineteenth-century photographer like Hart can seem nondescript today. The original cut has been widened and vegetation has returned to the slope on the right of the photograph.
