Cambridge Structural Database and SuperStar

The Cambridge Structural Database has been updated. Any earlier versions you downloaded have expired. SuperStar, a program for Predicting Protein-Ligand Interactions Using Experimental Data, will be available for downloading for Stanford students, faculty, and staff soon.

Winter intersession/closure — hours and services in the libraries

Limited Services (Selected Details):

  • Library Services: Circulation desks will be open for borrowing only. Searches for missing items, reference services and the processing of document delivery, interlibrary loans, holds, recalls, and course reserves will resume on Jan 3.
  • Socrates: Due to major upgrade to Socrates (installing Unicode), many services delivered via Socrates will be unavailable.
    • Dec 21 – Jan 2: Socrates will be available for searching only. Request links for recalls, paging, etc. in Socrates will be unavailable.
    • From Dec 21–25, the Availability Status of items in Socrates will NOT be updated. Items which are available may appear as Checked Out, and some Checked Out items may appear as available. The Availability Status of all items will be updated on Dec 26.
  • Document Delivery Services: while users can continue to submit requests, none will be processed from Dec 13 – Jan 2. Users should expect a delay in receiving requested materials. (This is also true for Interlibrary Borrowing and Research Library Cooperative Program Requests.)
  • Paging Items from Storage: Paging Items from Stanford Auxiliary Libraries — no items will be paged Dec 21- Jan 2.
  • Library Privileges Desk at Green: Library Privileges Desk and Loan Desk at Green will be open Dec 26–28, 31 and Jan 2 from 8am–5pm.
