Rally for a Sweat-Free Stanford
Fri Feb 27, 2009 | 12-1pm | White Plaza
We are calling on Stanford end sweatshop abuses in Stanford factories by joining the Designated Suppliers Program (DSP).

Through independent monitoring, the consolidation of factories producing university clothing, and a factory certification process, the DSP ensures the fair treatment of workers at factories producing university apparel. Under this system, workers are guaranteed a local living wage, the right to unionize, freedom from harassment and intimidation, and a safe working environment. Currently, 43 universities including Columbia, Duke and the entire UC system have joined the DSP.

Weekly Meetings

Sweat-Free meetings are held weekly on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30pm at the Old Union Clubhouse, 2nd floor. Meetings are open to any interested students.
