Hepatitis B Awareness Week 2012: 4/30 – 5/03

Join us for our annual Hepatitis B Awareness Week, which will begin on Monday, 4/30. Filled with fun prizes, expert speakers and delicious treats, please support our fight against Hep B by coming out to the exciting events we have planned!

Here is the schedule for the upcoming week:

Monday, 4/30: HBAW Kick-off

Wake up to a jade surprise across campus! Schedule your FREE appointment for the “Hepatitis B High risk screening on the web” today by visiting https://vadenpatient.stanford.edu.

Tuesday, 5/1: The Jade Perspective on Health Advocacy, 6:00pm in A3C Ballroom (Dinner will be provided)

This event features Arcadi Kolchak, Policy Aide for Santa Clara County, and Thomas Quigg, Lecturer of Biological Sciences at San Jose State University. Gain a new perspective on a disease that affects 350 million people worldwide and is the leading cause of liver cancer. All future leaders in medicine, public health and policy are encouraged to come!

Wednesday, 5/2: Visibility Day, 11:30am-2pm in White Plaza

Drop by our table in White Plaza and get free Team HBV swag!

Thursday, 5/3: Jade Dining Day, Dinner Hours at all Stanford Dining Halls

Enjoy a Jade cookie as a fitting dessert to your meal, while learning more about Hep B and how you can get involved!
