Wushu Collegiates 2014

Stanford Wushu brought home 10 individual medals at the 18th Annual Wushu Collegiates, placing 4th overall as a team.

Wushu for Class Credit

Wushu is offered for class credit and participants of all levels. To take Wushu for credit, sign up for ATHLETIC 181M (under T. Ghormley) for 1 unit. The class is offered for C/NC based on attendance.



Taiji is not offered during the summer.

What is Wushu?

Wushu is an important component of the cultural heritage of China, with a rich content that has remained untarnished over the centuries. Literally translated, "wu" is military, "shu" is art. Wushu therefore means the art of fighting, or martial arts.
