Before I begin, I would like to say that the idea of errors making us more human that we talked about in class was truly at play in this project. Because of my lack of experience with Flash Player and other computer programs of this sort, the process of making everything going according to my plan was painstaking. In fact, I called dozens of audibles along the way, but all the while, these small changes ultimately surmounted to a project that was exponentially more fulfulling in the end.
With that said, coming up on week three of college, and almost a month away from home, I started to think about my preconceived notions of what my home was. Obviously my house in Anthem, Arizona holds a special place in my heart, but the place where I spent the majority of the last four years of my life was my high school, Brophy College Preparatory. I lived and breathed the spirit of my high school and realized that Brophy was more of a home than I could have asked for. With that part of my life behind me, I have begun to realize that I need to start making this place where I will be spending 4 years my next home.
The theme of my flash movie was Home, and I spent time finding similarities between Brophy and Stanford and found that Brophy is Stanford. Brophy was home, Stanford is now home, and therefore, they are equal in that regards. At the end of the day, I have transitioned to a new phase of my life, gleaning another place that I can truly call home.
