My work focuses on control plane management and optimization methods for the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is creating the need for new methods to manage large collections of virtual machines and devices. My approach seeks to blend streming IoT data, using new statistical learning methods, with device models to monitor, manage and automatically optimize performance of IoT systems.
An interesting startup, Nightingale Analytics
Previously, I was President and CEO of Clearwater Networks, a Sr. Director at Texas Instruments, and a Sr. Director at SUN Microsystems. At Clearwater Networks, I was responsible for setting strategy, raising Venture capital, and managing development. At TI, I started the division, defined the initial products and managed their development. I was also responsible for managing corporate relationships with Microsoft, Wind River Software and Cisco.
