Click a picture to see a larger view. We were in Italy for the Fermi collaboration meeting in Abano Terme, near Padova. We spent a long weekend in Venice afterwards, hooking up with my SLAC co-worker Tom Glanzman for a day. We took vaporetti to the islands of Murano (glass) and Burano (lace) and spent a great day paddling the canals of Venice with Kayak Venice: a unique view of the city!
