Homework:

1. For writing: send me a Word document (not a pdf) containing the introduction only to a current or recent paper, ideally one that has not been edited by someone else. Get this to me no later than Wednesday at 8:00 pm.
I encourage you to revise it once more before sending it along. We will use this for an activity in class next week. Be sure to read Lesson 10 in the book first on "motivating coherence" (especially the part on introductions).

2. Meeting. Review the video of your presentation. If you have writing be sure to send that ahead.

3. Prepare a 5-8 minute presentation on some part of the body of your talk (methodology, results, discussion...whatever you would like our feedback on). Be sure you can demonstrate continued improvement in one or more performance areas we have discussed.

4. Review the "10 Common Qualities..." handout. Select what you think are the three most important of those qualities as they relate to your own writing and come prepared to discuss your choices.
