VI. Your talks. Be sure 1) to focus on engaging us in the opening minute (even though it comes from the middle--open with a synopsis) and 2) to improve on one or two specific points from last week

Homework for the next class: 

1. Prepare your final presentation: 10-15 minutes on a topic of your choice. Pay attention to transitions and be sure to end strongly. Be sure to use at least one question and practice formulas for answering questions from the audience.

2. Read Lesson 7 in Williams: Write 7.1: 8,10  7.3: 4,6  7.4: 4
