I am currently a postdoc working with Michael Frank in the Psychology Department at Stanford University. I obtained my PhD in Developmental Psychology at the University of California, Davis working with Simona Ghetti, and did my undergraduate work in Psychology and Spanish Literature at the University of California, San Diego.
I am broadly interested in the role of metacognitive self-reflection in learning and decision-making. My work examines children's and adults' abilities to monitor their own cognitive activity and knowledge, and how output from this monitoring affects behavior. I am particularly interested in how people's monitoring of epistemic uncertainty supports learning.
I also developed a survey measure of parenting attitudes, which can be found here.
