Dimitry Gorinevsky - PhD Moscow (Lomonosov) University
Consulting Professor in Electrical Engineering, Stanford University

Dimitry's research area is the Big Data analytics for industrial systems. He worked on applications of monitoring, decision, and control systems across many industries. Recent focus has been on statistical computational methods for data-driven stochastic optimization, risk management, fault diagnostics, and predictive trending. Recent applications are in energy systems and aerospace systems. Dimitry's long term interest is in contributing to the few mathematical methods for control and signal processing that are used in practical engineered systems. Besides his academic research and teaching, he worked in industry: for a Fortune 50 company, leading a small government contractor, and as an independent consultant. Dr. Gorinevsky contributed to automated industrial system products and aerospace services based on mathematical algorithm research.
