Hi...welcome to my web page. Evidently there ARE some people that actually read these about me pages, other than myself! (I'm of the firm opinion that most people go straight to the pictures but I'm a cynic at times ;-)

Anyway, I suppose since you're here I should at least introduce myself. My name is Sean and at the time of this writing I am currently 25 years old (not for very much longer though) I'm a gay male living in the bay area with two roommates and I work for the wonderfully exciting world of the engineering department at stanford, where nobody is really sure what I do, but I do it damn well!

Other than work, I have a rather odd smattering of interests. Currently I read a good deal, mostly science-fiction/fantasy novels, but everything else from mysteries to non-fiction is fair game depending on what mood I'm in. I'm a bit of a net geek...I can often be found on the efnet on IRC usually as Herewiss or Herefox depending on my mood, feel free to poke me if you ever see me there *grin* I also belong to several mailing lists, one of which is a private invitation only sort of shared world/silliness/discussion list called the bower. There I'm several characters, among which are Sean the werefox (which is where Herefox comes from btw :-) Herewiss the god of the shapeshifters and lord of the forests, Raymond the wizard of odd, and Don Foxo the fairy godfather of the antibower. Yes, I know it sounds odd but you have to have been there. Aside from my net interests and reading, I also do a bit of short fiction writing, some of which I hope to get up on this page when I have the time so I can torture the world with it.

One of my other big interests are roleplaying games, most notably the white wolf world of darkness games. Currently I'm in a campaign played on IRC. It's an interesting medium to play what's essentially an exercise in acting, it ends up being akin to a large collaboratative novel between about nine people. If you think it sounds interesting, we keep the game logs and assorted writings done by us on the web, and there will be a link to it on my links page :-)

Occasionally I even get out of the house *laugh* When I do I like to go out with my friends, go out dancing, sometimes go hiking, work out (though I've been exceptionally lazy in the last couple of months I'll admit!) see theatre when I can afford it, and practice random acts of silliness.
