Description

Nimue is tall about 6" and slender and voluptious. In her dreaming state she is made of lightly blue-green tinted shimmering water and usually without any form of clothing. In her husk she generally has the same proportions but has raven black hair, very pale skin with a faint bluish cast to it, and bright sapphire eyes. She fairly shines with a radiant beauty and tends to wear long flowing velvet gowns in blues and greens. Her voice is a beautiful soprano, and her manner is very shy. One leg in her husk is twisted and she walks with a very faint limp that isn't really noticeable in the clothing she usually wears.

History

Nimue awoke from the long slumber about 3 years ago to find in horror that she'd been krofted while she slept into the shape of a rather disreputable marble fountain of a mermaid lounging on some rocks. The fountain lies in a rather dilapidated coutyard in a largely run down part of the french quarter. She spent the first year or so repairing her anchor, so now that it's a glorious fountain, with lovely pure water and shining marble. During that first year she was also taught to form a human husk by a rather chatty air elemental, and soon her frequent nightly appearances to sing songs of lost love and sorrow spread tales of the haunted fountain, and most of the people of her neighborhood started giving it wide berth (also a small period of unseelie behavior on her part spread rumors that it was unsafe to mess with the fountain….the person who tried was found floating face down in it the next morning)

The next few years were much the same, save for a rather odd, melancholy sidhe started visiting her fountain, often hearing her sing before startingly her back into her anchor. His melancholy air and beautiful face won her heart and she began letting him get closer before disappearing, till finally one day she let him touch her cheek briefly before going…and that was his last visit. It's about a year after that now..and she ventures further and further from her fountain looking for the sad sidhe…not even knowing his name.
