Bland Diet Recipes

Unfortunately Pippin has a couple of digestive problems and cannot eat kibble or canned dog food -- even prescription dog food!

The following are some bland diet recipes that are easy to prepare and quite appetizing to dogs. To help Pip's digestion, we give her 1/2 a Pepcid tablet half an hour before each of her two meals.

If your dog has a sensitive stomach, give these recipes a try!

1/2 cup non-fat cottage cheese
1/2 skinless chicken breast meat, poached and shredded
1/4 cup steamed vegetables, cubed
Mix rice and cottage cheese in a medium sized dog dish. Add chicken and veggies. Sprinkle with crushed dog vitamins.
