This is a directory of NGOs operating in Chad. Provides the origin of the NGO, address, phone, number of staff who are Chadian and the number who are expatriates, its areas of operation and activities. Beginning and ending dates of operations, budget, source of finance, expenses in 1999.

Examples of NGOs are the Ligue du Monde Islamique (of Saudi Arabia). The LIM has a staff of 108 Chadians. Projects include construction of mosques, a health center, a technical industrial school, an orphanage, and a Koranic school.
