Khashayar Khosravi

Khashayar is currently an AI Resident at Google Research NYC, working with the Algorithms & Optimization Team. He reecently finished his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, where he was fortunate to be advised by Mohsen Bayati. His research lies at the intersection of operations research, machine learning, and statistics. In particular, he is interested in decision making, learning, and causal inference.
He previously was a Lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he co-taught OIT 245 (Optimization and Simulation Modeling) and OIT 367 (Business Intelligence from Big Data). In summer 2018, Khashayar interned at Microsoft Research New England where he worked with Vasilis Syrgkanis and Greg Lewis, where he worked on causal inference in high-dimensional settings.
Previously, Khashayar obtained bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics both from Sharif University of Technology. In 2009, Khashayar won a gold medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad.
