How modern fake racial classification systems came out of the old fake continent of Europe

One of the biggest fantasies carried by people over the last few hundred years is that racial classification has a scientific basis. The view that white people are superior to all others is embedded in the minds of many people and is still embraced by public media around the world. But how is the race of each person determined? By a blow of the eye, which is nonsense. Daily newspapers and televisions report percentages of races in various employments and other activities, none of which has any scientific basis. Certain governmental agencies embrace Affirmative Action, which gives preferential treatment to certain “minorities” even though there is no real way to determine who qualifies.

I entered this struggle in 1963 when my family and I moved from Massachusetts to racist Virginia, where everyone was supposed to be either “White” or “Colored”. I started listing my race as “Mongrel” as described in my 1989 CACM computer journal article “Can Computers Cope With Human Races?” As discussed there, no existing racial classification system has a scientific basis, yet pubic media report all kinds of racial and ethnic statistics every day and those classifications are written into laws as well as being used in medical studies and in Affirmative Action laws, which are nonsense. My article was apparently the first to describe how to do real racial classification based on DNA analysis but I also pointed out that doing that would be pointless because everyone alive today is a mixed descendant of various ancient tribes and we are all members of a single race, called Homo Sapiens. In fact everyone alive today is a direct descendant of the black African tribe of that name and we each got nearly all of our genes from members of that tribe.

In view of the fact that everyone alive today is African, what do the widely used non-African racial categories mean? Absolutely nothing – they are all inventions of ancient racists but are accepted as real. Even the pseudo-scientists running medical professions today subscribe to this nonsense. For example Kaiser Permanente, which provides medical services for my family, posts laboratory results showing different normal ranges for “African-Americans” than for others. What that means is that these medical professionals, like most, are racist idiots.

Because human evolution has been going on longer in Africa than anywhere else, there is more genetic diversity among dark-skinned Africans than between some of them and everyone else in the world. Consider the very tall Watutsi, who are fairly closely related to most Eurasians though they have much darker skin. However their nearby Bambuti neighbors, also called pygmies, are very small and about the only thing they have in common is black skin.

A Split, Then a Merge. Going back in time, various hominins (proto-humans) started coming out of Africa long ago and a tribe we call Neanderthals migrated to Central Eurasia about 300,000 years ago. There they developed progressively lighter skin as an adaptation to the smaller amount of sunlight available at higher latitudes. Humans need vitamin D, which the skin produces with exposure to sunlight, but at high latitudes dark skin interferes with that process. Some Neanderthals also developed lighter colored hair.

Meanwhile, back in Africa, after developing the ability to speak, the Sapiens developed a new style of hunting about 70,000 years ago, using hunting groups armed with spears doing coordinated attacks that enabled them to kill animals of any size, including mammoths, mastodons, and saber tooth cats that were larger than today’s African Lions. This suddenly put them at the top pf the food chain and allowed their descendants to dominate the Earth. In other words, while intelligence played a part in their successful dominance the key development was their becoming the top level killers.

Around 50,000 years ago some Sapiens migrated to Central Eurasia and began hunting near the Neanderthals who were already there, which inevitably led to intertribal warfare. The Sapiens’ superior hunting style gave them an edge, enabling them to both take stored food from their neighbors and to capture young women and bring them back to their tribe as both laborers and sex partners, with the result that their offspring had lighter skin, which was advantageous. Through evolution over multiple generations, many Sapiens developed white skin that enabled them to live at high latitudes.

Meanwhile, even though the Neanderthals had larger brains than the Sapiens and were likely more intelligent in some ways, their hunting style remained inferior – instead of using coordinated attacks, men attempted to wrestle game or adversaries to the ground and developed very large torsos and arms for that tactical use but they were no match for men with spears. Consequently they eventually died out, leaving Eurasia under the control of Sapiens.

A New Run at Dominance. Beginning a couple of hundred years ago, long after Christianity had become the dominant religion of West Eurasia and both holy wars and discrimination had been imposed on competing religions such as Judaism and Islam, people living there concocted a scheme for spreading terrorism and colonialism around the world using sailing gunships. To help justify doing that they created two myths:

1. The Western part of Eurasia is a separate continent called Europe;

2. White people are superior to all others.

As anyone can see with a glance at a map, Europe is not a separate continent and never has been; nevertheless, that big lie is accepted around the world today. White skin was actually inherited from what turned out to be an inferior tribe that died out, but most people didn’t know that history, so these myths remain widely accepted today and strongly affect both political processes and daily living.

Racism will Eventually Fade. Happily this racist nonsense will eventually fade away because of the increasing mobility of the modern world encourages interbreeding. I am proud to say that my 15 descendants, including 6 great-grandchildren so far, are various mixtures of West Eurasian, Yupik Eskimo, Filipino, West African, and Puerto Rican. Anyone who thinks they can racially classify each of them with a blow of the eye is a racist fool.

Terminate Eurocentric Terminology. The ongoing pretense by public media that Europe is a separate continent and has well-defined boundaries should be terminated. Also, other parts of the world are currently identified in Eurocentric terms such as Near East, Middle East and Far East, none of which make sense for people living outside of West Eurasia. The real continent should be called Eurasia and other terminology should be changed as follows.

What is now called	Should be called

Middle East	Central Eurasia
Far East	East Eurasia

Of course, public media will continue resisting telling the truth about both geography and racism.
