I'm a fifth-year graduate student in mathematics at Stanford University under the supervision of Zhiwei Yun. I work in representation theory, with a focus on geometric and diagrammatic techniques.

For a layperson's introduction to the kind of math I think about, I recommend this document by Geordie Williamson.

I usually go by "Macky," a made-up English spelling for my Japanese nickname "Makkī" (マッキー), which comes from the first part of my last name.

I graduated from Princeton University (B.A. in Mathematics) in 2012. My senior thesis advisor was Peter Sarnak.

I went to Canada/USA Mathcamp during my high school summers ('05, '06, '08). It's awesome.
