My fascination is probably to do with the effects of throwing light on things.
And framing.
Imagine the archaeological trench as such a frame that opens up the past to view. But it is in no way simply transparent and any enlightenment is at the cost of considerable compromise.
My daughter Molly has been making photographs of windows too.
