Summary

The Admin Team record was created to allow an easy way to designate a set of people to be a Node's administrator rather than listing each individual for that Node. For instance, if the Computer Resource Center (CRC) is maintaining a node, the CRC Admin Team can be listed as the administrator of that node, instead of listing each CRC staff member as an administrator. The record for the CRC Admin Team will show contact information and members.

Fields

Name- name of Admin Team can contain up to 64 characters.

Email- general email address of Admin Team. For example, "consult@leland.stanford.edu" or "joe@stanford.edu".

Phone- general telephone number of Admin Team. 

Department- if the Admin Team is acting as the local network administrator for a department, this department should be listed here. Then the Admin Team will be included on the LNA list under that department.

Members- list of people in Admin Team. People are currently not listed in any particular order.  All members must have valid SUNet IDs.

Group- this Admin Team can only be modified by Users with rights to this Group and rights to Admin Team records.

Comment- useful information can be added here. This field is searchable with Full Search. Only printable characters are valid for comments. The printable character set consists of the alphabet, any numbers, all punctuation and spaces. For example, the carriage return is a non-printable character.
