Flow Physics and Computational Science Group

Jain Lab @ Georgia Tech

I will join Georgia Tech as a faculty in January 2024.
I am looking for motivated students to join my group for Spring/Fall 2024.

My research group— Flow Physics and Computational Science (FPCS) Lab— will specialize in computational modeling and simulations of fluid flows with a focus on, but not limited to, multiphase flows, turbulent flows, fluid-structure interaction, numerical modeling, A.I., and high performance computing. Applications include energy, propulsion, aerospace design, advancing our understanding of climate change, and biomedical engineering.

Prospective M.S./Ph.D. students: I will be primarily part of Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering (ME). But I will be also considering students to advise/co-advise from Aerospace Eng., Computational Science and Eng., Machine Learning, Nuclear Eng., Chemical Eng., Civil and Environmental Eng., Ocean Science and Eng., and Biomedical Eng. programs. If you are interested in working with me, a) apply (preferably) to ME or to any of these programs, b) make sure to mention my name in your application, and c) write me an e-mail (at suhasjain@gatech.edu) with subject "Prospective student - YOURNAME", attaching your CV, a brief description of your research interests, why you are interested in working with me, and any relevant material.

You can find details about engineering degree programs at Georgia Tech here.

Current Undergraduate/M.S./Ph.D. students: please follow the same instructions as above, but using subject "Current student - YOURNAME".
