The Linguistics Department has an open-source laboratory facility used by members of the Linguistics Department and the Psychology Department. The facility is maintained and run by Prof. Meghan Sumner, along with a Lab TA, appointed annually. The lab features two sound-attenuated booths, a Tobii TX300 eye-tracker, various experimental stations, a small conference room and office space. The users use software such as E-Prime, MatLab and PsyScope to collect and analyze data. A variety of recording equipment, including a permanent high-fidelity recording station within one of our booths, are also used for data collection and stimuli creation.
