MSANDE 456: Decision Analysis Toolkit
Winter 2007

Experienced management consultants show how to use decision analysis in real situations.  Quantitative tools and techniques for modeling dynamics, uncertainty, and complexity.  Decision hierarchies and strategy tables identify “what we can do.”  Decision diagrams and probability assessments capture complexity and document “what we know and don’t know.”  Preference models describe “what we want.”   Sensitivity and information analysis focus attention on “what is key.” Student teams apply these models and methods in actual decision cases.
