Michael D. Kudlick


Mike Kudlick received a B.S. from the University of Maryland in 1956, and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1966. He was a member of the ARPANet File Transfer Protocol committee, which established the protocol for file transfers on the ARPANet (and later Internet-- see RFC542, "File Transfer Protocol for the ARPA Network"), and the Network Mail committee, which helped define the technical parameters for e-mail (see RFC469). From 1974 to 1997 he was a professor of Computer Science at the University of San Francisco.
