Saree Kayne is a PhD candidate in social anthropology whose research focuses on the International Olympic Committee and the culture of that organization. Specifically, she is interested in thinking about how the specific interpersonal dynamics and internal politics of the IOC affect the way decisions which pertain to Olympic governance are undertaken. She is interested too in how the IOC has evolved its governance strategies over time as the Committee has become increasingly global. Saree received her BA with honors from the University of Chicago.
