MS: Statues, sculptures are a main form in which we encounter the anthropomorphic in Nobson. Some are like caryatids, architectural, merging with buildings and tombs. Others are on plinths. Others are conspicuously works of sculpture, and we might recognize some as works of well-known artists, albeit here transformed by their displacement to Nobson’s parks and amenities, and even sometimes altered by the locals.
