MS: see alimentary flow waste and excess
PN: Here are a some images of my work from 1989/90.
PN: The last work "untitled' has as it's materials: oil on canvas, polystyrene, sunglasses, hold-all and pastic bag.
PN: Bags or bin bags have been in the Nobson drawings since Nobslum (the 2nd nobson drawing - I think). The first drawing, Paul's Paalace had 'rubbish' but here it was empty boxes and used cable reels.
PN: This last detail from Welcome to Nobson is part ziggurat part Rendezvous Cafe (from the promenade at Whitley Bay sea front). You might also be able to see it houses an open air continental style latrine. Back to Paul's Palace, the real 'rubbish' of this drawing was the pile of discarded Henry Moore sculptures/monuments - see detail below
PN: and lastly - for now - here is a sketch of (or from ) the Rendezvous Cafe I made just before going to art college!
