David Platt: Started pages for myself, the Bibliography and Other Sources, and a discussion of scenarios based on Hubbert's Oil Peak.

David Platt: For some reason, I've not get upto date with the changes I've made. Today, I added the page on pre-orders (Customize Your Car Online (1)), and started initial research at several company websites. I also added comments to Serena's electronics page and the scenario discussion page.

David Platt: Added a "Category" page for Long Term Trends in American Culture. Demoted Customize Your Car Online (1) from a "category" page to a regular page.

David Platt: Added notes from the Stanford group meeting, last night. I've also begun brainstorming some of the Trends in American Culture. I'm a bit worried that they're more tech-oriented than our brief allows (e.g. GPS systems, fuel sources) but I have tried to include some fuzzier trends (carpooling, telecommuting, changes in video game audiences etc.).

Please feel free to flesh them out.

I need to add the notes from the meeting with RTNA that Chris and I had, a page of definitions (for "scenario", "use group", "trend"), and develop the pages on online car customization.

David Platt: Last weekend was pretty busy. Added pages for several "brainstormed" cultural trends. Notes from the RTNA meeting are now up.

Spent considerable time trying to get my head around how to best organize the wiki. Discovered the utility of "Key Pages" in admin.

David Platt: Tweaked the Customize Your Car Online pages to include "anchored" links within the pages. Should now be much easier to jump straight to analysis of one particular company.

David Platt: Am beginning an experiment with categories and the field interview results -- see "Field Interviews."

David Platt: I'm really not keeping up with this page, as much as I originally intended. Just spent the morning redefining our seven roles, as per the changes in the Brainstorming Session, adding song lyrics and commentary to the Car Culture page, added summary to the summaries page. Yesterday, I re-ordered the Todo page.

I hope to get back on track with the review of academic material later today. I've also pulled out a couple of items by Michael Bull on "Soundscapes" -- relevant to both the personal stereo and car stereos.
