Preliminary Schedule - Discarded June 16

Here is a preliminary list of key dates for Part One. The schedule for Part Two will be addressed as Part One proceeds.

Phase One: general

May 11 Signing of contract by both parties.

May 11 Establish a collaborative web space to track subjects, script, and all other information related to the interviews and the studies. Hosted on SHL machines. This space will be secured and password protected.

May 19 Team meeting 1 to establish team, discuss research plan and identify user or expert interview subjects.

May 30 Team meeting 2 to discuss studies to date and identify new user or expert interview subjects.

June 30 Team meeting 3 to discuss studies to date.

July 8 Presentation of the data and insights from the Future User Need and Expert interviews. The material for the presentation will be delivered 48 hours ahead of time (July 6) and will be reviewed in detail during the session. Key additional participants from both parties will be invited to attend, with agreement by both parties.

May 19 to May 30 Identification of users to interview. This will, by design, be a developing list so that the research program can react to learnings from the user need interviews.

May 26 Posting of interview format and guides to the collaborative space and identification of interviewers.

May 26 to June 30 Interviews with media users. Interviews are to begin as early as possible to as to accommodate the usual scheduling issues.

Part 2: Expert study

May 19 to June 16 Identification of media and technology experts to interview. This will, by design, be a developing list so that the research program can react to results from the user need interviews.
