I chose this to contrast with the other women's magazines, because it is statedly 'a feminist response to pop culture'. This particular issue was dedicated to exploring the masculine and its relationship to feminism.

There was only a single mention of anything car related in the whole magazine- a reference (p22) to 'Car and Driver Television', apparently shown on the Spike channel (which calls itself television for men), as being structured in simple short sound bites to avoid confusing viewers. Because the magazine is somewhat alternative, it's printed on normal paper, and there are few, small ads, none for cars.
