About

Gunther is pursuing a master's degree in Applied Mathematics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). His majors are Statistics, Stochastic Optimization and Energy. During his bachelor studies, Gunther spent 6-month abroad at the Universitat de Barcelona, where he focused on Stochastic Calculus and Probability Theory. He gained practical experience in a series of internships - first, he joined Allianz SE, the world's largest insurance company. Afterwards, he worked as a visiting consultant for Roland Berger, Germany's largest management consulting company, as well as for the UnternehmerTUM. Most recently, he worked for FinLeap - a Berlin-based FinTech Incubator. In Berlin, he gained valuable insights in the development of early-stage startups and the acquisition of venture capital.

He joined the Designing Education Lab to learn more about entrepreneurial decision making and entrepreneurship in general. Moreover he is involved in the Engineering Majors Survey to acquire a deeper understanding of research in engineering education.
