About

Leon Szeli is working as a Visiting Researcher in the Designing Education Lab in the Center for Design Research within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. After his studies in Psychology (BS) and Communication Science (BA), Leon is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Consumer Affairs at Technical University Munich, TUM School of Management. During his studies Leon enjoyed working in interdisciplinary teams, e.g. as a member of Academy Consult and as a scholar at Manage&More. Also in his research Leon is interested in interdisciplinary topics like the intersection of Technology, Humans and Economy. In his current research project he is conducting a survey among the Stanford Alumni in order to find out which personality traits shape their career paths.

In addition to his academic background, Leon Szeli worked for various companies in Consulting (Roland Berger Strategy Consultants), Tech (BMW, OSRAM, Fraunhofer) and Startups (Rocket Internet). Leon Szeli is one of the co-founders of the livestreaming startup HIGGS.live. Based on patented technology HIGGS.live combines multiple smartphone perspectives to a livestream for social media.

In his free time Leon enjoys the nature, reading and debating.
