The Designosaur 

How can we make the CDR a more upbeat, lively work environment? 

The answer: make a functional Designosaur. Inspired by Greg's designosaur sketch and the ME 310 Loft, the Designosaur fits speakers and has a coffee table on top, 

perfect for serving food or drinks. During the week, the Designosaur will be used to play music in the CDR. During DesignX meetings, it will be used as a serving area.

Our Process: 

     

First steps: We had to figure out how to take a two dimensional drawing and turn it into a three dimensional Designosaur. We started with scrap pieces of wood, and then 

sawed them into the right size. We then built a chicken wire frame for the Designosaur around which we would paper mache the body.
