About Us

Fellowship in Christ at Stanford (FiCS) is a group of students who meet regularly to learn more about God, challenging and encouraging one another toward a deeper understanding of God and His Word. Of course, that's not all: we're also a fun-loving (and remarkably food-loving) family, a dynamic mix of both undergraduate and graduate students. FiCS was established by and is a campus ministry of Korean Central Presbyterian Church in Daly City (near San Francisco).

FiCS is an on-campus ministry of Korean Central Presbyterian Church (KCPC) in Daly City. The English-speaking Ministry of KCPC is a reformed congregation of several hundred that consists of families, youth, and single adults, students, and professionals in a broad range of fields, and a variety of foks hailing from various parts of the country. These members currently live, work, and serve all over the San Francisco bay Area and come together regularly to worship the Lord and partner in the work of the gospel. As a branch of the KCPC college ministry, FiCS joins with the church in welcoming individuals of all backgrounds seeking a place to know and pursue Jesus Christ.

Founding Vision

"To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:12-13

In seeking to keep our eyes firmly fixed on Christ as we run with perseverance, we focus on:

  • Pursuing a heart of continual prayer and faithful abiding in God's Word
  • Building a community of disciples through teaching, fellowship, service and accountability in honest, transparent, and loving relationships in Christ;
  • Proclaiming boldly and faithfully the gospel of the Lord Jesus to the campus and the ends of the earth.

"... and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as in the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24-25
