Stanford Travel:  Here's to the Winners

Congratulations to the two Stanford staffers who won free round-trip tickets on Delta. Kimberly Chun (left) won the drawing for those who filled out the questionnaire, and Nicole Feldman (right) won among those who booked travel in April through Stanford Travel's Online Booking Tool.

For those who didn't win—here's another chance! At the end of the month, we'll conduct another drawing for a free round-trip ticket on Delta, plus 200 Orbucks, the Orbitz Rewards program, which can be redeemed when booking flights and lodging. To qualify for the drawing, you must make arrangements sometime in May for future travel through Stanford Travel's Online Booking Tool. (Both arrangers and travelers are entered.)

What they're saying
about Stanford Travel

The questionnaire brought forth a lot of great feedback on ways we can make Stanford Travel serve you better. We also got dozens of kind comments about the program, such as:

When I needed assistance with complicated international travel arrangements, Stanford Travel was quick, informative and thorough. They helped me with the flight and hotel arrangements for a country that I was unfamiliar with.

–– Isabel Costa, School of Medicine

It's so easy to book flights & other packages thru Orbitz...they did all the work to make it easier on the traveler and the travel arranger.

–– Tess Mezzetta, Biology

I have used it for at least 2 international plane tickets. It has worked very well. For complicated ticketing, I call the Orbitz agents, who are also extremely helpful.

–– Davis Albohm, Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies

I find the Stanford Travel site incredibly easy to use.

–– Kim Durante, Science and Engineering Resource Group

Booking for guests?
Here's how

We've received a lot of interest in the Guest Traveler functionality—that is, providing travelers who are not Stanford faculty or staff with the ability to book their travel through our Stanford Travel program. This would enable those travelers to choose the details of their flights online, without having to work through the travel arranger, and then charge their costs to the Travel Card that the arranger loads into the system.

We're making this functionality available on a limited basis. To ensure that participants fully understand the process, we're requiring that anyone who is interested in accessing the functionality participate in a 30-minute training webinar. To register, click on one of these four choices: (links below removed)
