Texture Analysis

Quantitative texture analysis can be done according to the Schultz reflection method. In this type of measurement the sample is tilted around the y axis in combination with a rotation around the f axis. Pole figures should be corrected for defocusing: a second measurement has to be performed under the same experimental conditions of a random (non-textured) sample of the same material as the textured sample.
