Introduction

Foundational fuels consist of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, C1-4 hydrocarbons, benzene, and toluene. An accurate, detailed chemistry model for foundational fuels is critical to modeling combustion of all hydrocarbon compounds and oxygenated fuels.
