Additional Model Tests (Under Construction)

The table lists additional tests done on trial and optimized FFCM-2. It is searchable by data type (column 1), the fuel (column 2).The Details tab provides the comparisons of the trial and optimized FFCM-2 with the expeirmental data.

  • Type: the types of additional tests, they are
    • ign: shock tube ignition delay,
    • fls: laminar flame speed,
    • pro: shock tube speciation.
  • Fuel: the fuel of an additional test.
  • Thermodynamic conditions for the additional tests are given by
    • Temperature, unit in Kelvins,
    • Pressure, unit in atm,
    • Equivalence ratio.
  • Experimental method: the experimental techniques used for the additional tests, e.g., spherical bomb measurements, or definition of ignition delay in shock tube experiments.
  • Note: Ignition delay time simulation of hydrogen at low temperature uses increasing pressure assumption (2%/ms) according to “G. A. Pang, D. F. Davidson, R. K. Hanson, Experimental study and modeling of shock tube ignition delay times for hydrogen–oxygen–argon mixtures at low temperatures, Proc. Combust. Inst. 32 (2009) 181–188.”.
