Sarah Victor - Lab Manager Sarah Victor graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Political Science in 2008. Sarah has been working in the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Lab for over two years, first as an undergraduate Research Assistant and now as a Research Coordinator. Her work in the lab has included several projects, including a study on reward responsivity in Bipolar Disorder and another project on information processing in Social Anxiety Disorder (Social Phobia). Sarah recently began work on a large study of adults suffering from Major Depressive Disorder. While research is her current passion, Sarah believes strongly in the practical applications of psychological knowledge, and in that regard has worked as a peer counselor, a Resident Assistant for an undergraduate Stanford dorm, and as a rape crisis counselor. In her free time, Sarah enjoys basking in the California sun, reading (primarily non-fiction, news, and autobiographies), watching movies, and keeping in touch with her family back home in Wisconsin. |
