Open Journal Systems

OJS is an open source content management system for publishing open access academic journals. It is currently in use by over 1000 journals on six continents. OJS is an initiative of the Public Knowledge Project, which is housed at the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University, but its founder, John Willinsky, is now a professor at Stanford's School of Education.

Techcommons has an article that explains how to install OJS on Stanford systems: https://techcommons.stanford.edu/open-journal-systems
